About tired eyes

Why do my eyes look so tired?

The skin around the eyes is delicate and can, unfortunately, show all too clearly the effects of tiredness and ageing.

The blood vessels surrounding the eye show through the skin as it becomes thinner with age, making the area look darker. Thinning, sagging skin and weakening muscles supporting the lids may leave us prone to wrinkled, droopy eyes, dark circles and unwanted bags.

And whatever age we are, the area under the eye can also appear puffy or swollen due to an accumulation of fluid, creating unwelcome eye bags.

Treatments for tired eyes

At Skin Perfection, we offer the following treatments for tired eyes, eye bags and dark circles.

Botox wrinkle-relaxing injections - non-surgical treatment for moderate to severe facial lines and wrinkles. (It is also used for hyperhidrosis - excessive sweating - and for migraines to reduce tension headaches.)

Dermal fillers - injectable treatments that use hyaluronic acid (a substance, produced by the body, that we gradually lose as we get older) to instantly restore skin volume. They helps fill lines, wrinkles and folds, re-defining areas of the face, the lips, hollows including under-eye bags and the backs of the hands - giving you that fresher look you have always wanted.

Micro-needling - used as a stand-alone treatment or as part of a four-stage process to help reduce lines, wrinkles, open pores and acne scarring, and treat dry and dehydrated skin - leaving your skin looking fresher and smoother. With two treatment options: our state-of-the-art Dermafrac machine (minimal downtime) or a Dermaroller (slightly longer downtime).

To find out which of these treatments is most suitable for you, please call us today to book your free consultation.
